"'Festival of Vedic India' is a regular guest at Albert Park college but it really made us feel part of their school community when we were invited back to their annual art show.
Being an art show our stall focused on henna, face painting and garlands. We also had kirtan playing in the background to set a really nice atmosphere. There were lots of students and parents from the school who came to our stall but because the art show was open to the public we had lots of passers-by drop in to have henna & face painting done. The visitors also gratefully accepted the flower garlands we were handing out as gifts. Everyone had a fun day including ourselves.
In December, just as we have in the last 2 years, we will be running workshops as part of Albert Park College’s Multicultural Day."
